There were never any limited edition Saxo's ever made by Citroën.

There were 30 'special' models of the Saxo VTS that were made by an independent company in Morecambe,Lancashire called LAD Motorsport. This included 10 San Remo models and 20 Tour De Corse models.

The Tour De Corse models were built in 1997 and had a choice of championship white paint with white alloy wheels or dark blue paint with gold alloy wheels with a rear spoiler.

The San Remo models were built in 1998 and came in championship white paint with white alloy wheels only with a rear spoiler.

All of the ‘special’ models were only available on the mark1 version of the Saxo. LAD Motorsport claimed that all of the 'special' models had a power output of between 160 - 180bhp and could do 0-62mph (0-100km/h) in around 6.24 - 6.37seconds, this was without any forced induction such as a turbo/supercharger and LAD Motorsport claimed it was from ‘minor headwork’. All power claims and figures were proven to be wrong by over 30 different companies throughout the United Kingdom over a number of years and as a result (of the false figures) LAD Motorsport closed down in 2008.

There are many individuals that believe the gold colour and two-tone paint on some VTR and VTS models were a limited edition, Citroën declined this and suggested it was nonesense. There was also a series of Open Scandal and VTR models (mostly of X Reg) that were created in a bright yellow called Zest Yellow. Only 500 cars carry this livery but it is still not classed as a limited edition.

Ford Galaxy Vehicle Review

In the year 1995, Ford Motor Company introduced the Ford Galaxy, a large multi purpose vehicle. In the year 2006, Ford introduced the second generation Ford Galaxy, which was sold beside the shorter large MPV known as the S MAX.

In Argentina, the Ford Galaxy was sold as a rebadged version of the Volkswagen Santana, which resembled Brazil’s Ford Versailles vehicle.

The very first Ford Galaxy was built and designed as a joint venture between Volkswagen and Ford. The Galaxy was then sold as the Sharan by Volkswagen. SEAT sold the vehicle as the Alhambra. All three models of this vehicle were built in Portugal at Autoeuropa, which is situated in the town of Palmela.

In the year 2006, the second generation of Ford Galaxy was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. The vehicle was sold alongside the S MAX beginning in June of that year.

The second generation Ford Galaxy is a lot bigger than the car it succeeds. It boasts an entirely new all Ford design, free of Volkswagen content. The Ford Galaxy is no longer produced in Portugal; it is made at a newly equipped factory in Belgium. The new Ford Galaxy is viewed as being a lot more mainstream than the sporty S MAX vehicle.

Vauxhall Monaro VXR Cars

The 2005 version of the Monaro VXR featured more power and torque than any other production car from Vauxhall.

Under the Monaro VXR's ventilated bonnet sits the new high-output 6.0-litre LS2 V8 engine, as used in the Corvette C6. The engine develops 397 horsepower and 530Nm of torque. This gives the Monaro VXR a 0-60 mph time of around 5 seconds and a 180 mph top speed.

Along with the new engine, virtually the entire drivetrain has been upgraded on the 2005 Monaro VXR, with revised suspension and bigger grooved brakes to ensure that the car can keep the power tamed while still being thrilling to drive. With its classic front-engine, rear-wheel drive layout, the Monaro VXR rapidly gained a reputation for being an enthusiastic driver’s car.

Renault Clio Cars

The Renault Clio is a supermini car produced by the French automobile manufacturer Renault. Originally launched in 1990, it is currently in its third generation. The Clio has seen substantial critical and commercial success, being consistently one of Europe's top-selling cars since its launch,[1] and it is largely credited with restoring Renault's reputation and stature after a difficult second half of the 1980s. Symbol of its success and its longevity, the Clio is the only car to have been elected European Car of the Year twice, in 1991 and in 2006. The Renault Clio buoyed by its success all over the world is now looking to set foot in India. Renault Executive VP Philippe Klein said “In January 2012 we will launch a hatchback in B to B+ segment and it is specifically designed for the Indian customers by our Mumbai centre”.

2012 Porsche 911 GT3 R Hybrid

Porsche has announced that the GT3 R Hybrid will make a return for the 2012 racing season. The vehicle made its first appearance in 2010 at the the Petit Le Mans 10-hour competition where it showed excellent performance.

The GT3 R Hybrid is known as the "rolling race laboratory," and while Porsche has not revealed any specifications on it just yet, we expect to see the same hybrid system as in the previous model: a 4.0 Liter flat six engine delivering 480 HP combined with two electric motors that each produce 100 HP. The new model will be five centimeters wider at the rear and will get almost an extra 15 centimeters on the front fenders.

"There is no way around the hybrid technology in motorsport," stressed Wolfgang Hatz, Board Member for Research and Development, on Saturday on the occasion of the end of year Porsche ‘Night of Champions’ celebrations. "With the 911 GT3 R Hybrid project, we have shown how you can test important future technologies on the race track and pave the way for motorsport success in the future. We will continue to determinedly blaze this trail and further develop the hybrid technology."

For 2012, the POrsche GT3 R Hybrid will race in competitions like the FIA World Endurance Championship, the American Le Mans Series, the Le Mans Series, the International GT Open, and the Le Mans 24 Hours.

2012 Donkervoort D8 GTO

There are a lot of things about the Netherlands that we enjoy. The milk is fantastic, the cheese is delicious, and the women, well, let’s just say that they’re true eye candies.

Now, you can add one more thing to that list: the Donkervoort D8 GTO.

First teased around the same time a year ago - took longer than expected to be revealed - the D8 GTO has finally arrived in all its fireball-ic glory. Born from the heritage of Donkervoort’s other creations - the GT and the D8 270RS, to be exact - the D8 GTO takes the reigns from its predecessors as a larger model that comes with matching performance capabilities.

The D8 GTO is the product of a collaboration between Donkervoort Automobielen and Audi Quattro GmbH and was developed for the past two-and-something years. It may have taken a while to be completed, but once you get acclimated with what the D8 GTO has to offer, you’re going to realize that the wait was well worth it.
