The 2008 BMW M3 was one of the most successful launches from the house of BMW in last couple of years. It is the fourth generation model in the series of BMW’s M-Tuned 3 series cars. Launched for the first time in the year 1986, M GmbH had taken what they had learned on the race track in order to develop a street car with high performance that survives up to its inheritance of motorsports. The highly awaited M3 returns from one year respite with maximum RPM, 4 liter V8 engine, which will produce 414 horsepower of throughput.
The whole power is driven with the help of wheels at the rear part through two dissimilar transmissions, an all new seven speed or a six speed double clutch, and a varying derivative lock. Some of the other noteworthy features include anti-lock disk brakes with high performance, which are cross drilled with high electronic stability and a suspension of M sport in order to keep the things under control.
For the year 2008, the BMW M3 was marketed in the Sedan style. Since 1998, it has been made available in three different body styles – Sedan, Coupe and Convertibles. The Market price of the 2008 M3 was in the price range of $50,261 to $60,680. Basically, the sedan version of the M3 was liked by plenty of auto enthusiasts and the level of sales of the sedan version was higher than that of the coupe version. Of course, the convertibles have been the most popular ones in the line-up.
